Q: I’m young and already starting to see signs of aging on my face. What’s going on?
A:
A couple of things. First, our bodies are constantly undergoing cell division
to replace old cells with new ones. In the case of skin, those new cells
produce collagen to keep our skin fresh and young. As we get older, though,
cell division slows down–so our skin isn’t replenished as quickly. Second,
overexposure to sun without the proper protection can lead to the
appearance of fine lines.
Q: When I go out, I put lotion on my face and neck. Am I missing other important areas?
A:
You are. In addition to your face and neck, your eyes, lips and chest also need
