"I wake up each morning to the sounds of the ocean."
Alberto Rebollo came to the United States from Mexico City with literally nothing.
"I had no money and no place to stay," Alberto explains. "I came here with only
a plastic bag under my arm." One day, after holding jobs that barely paid the bills,
Alberto accepted a flyer outside a supermarket. And his life changed forever.
"Every day, I'm grateful that I got that flyer!"
"When she handed me the Herbalife flyer," Alberto recalls, "the woman asked if
I knew anyone looking to lose weight. I told her I did, and then I used the products
myself." Impressed with his results, Alberto, who was running his own sign-painting
business, saw a real business opportunity. "I started handing out flyers at a market,"
he explains. "It got my attention, so I knew it could attract others."
"I thought, ‘If they can do this, I can!'"

As his business grew, Alberto enjoyed an improved lifestyle - but felt something was missing.
"My life wasn't complete," he admits, "because I was thinking only about me. But when
I married Luz Delia, and we had our son, Cesar Alberto, life really became meaningful!"
Working from their oceanfront property, Alberto and Luz Delia have grown their organization
to over 120 Supervisors. Alberto points out, "As Mark Hughes said, we're taking Herbalife to
the entire world!"
"With positive thinking and the hard work of our organization - ‘Born to Win' -
we're all enjoying success," Alberto says. "But the real rewards come from sending money
to my family in Mexico and making a difference in people's lives!"*
What works:
- Always have an agenda for your day. To be successful, you must control your time.
- Use technology. I'm able to train and inspire over 200 people at a time by daily conference call.
- Stick with what works. For me, it's talking with people outside stores and handing out flyers.
