"We saw an opportunity to create more of a future."
Jeana Austin used to be a stay-at-home mom watching her husband struggle
in a labor-intensive job. "People thought I was crazy to start a business with
a 10-week-old and a 2-year-old," she says. But Jeana was determined to give
her family more time together and to help financially. "We had no retirement
or savings accounts," she explains. "I was hoping to earn enough to pay more
than our minimum credit card payments."

Jeana and her family started using Herbalife products after learning about them
from a mailer. After she lost weight and her husband gained muscle mass,
Jeana was even more inspired to become a Distributor.

Though her husband, Bruce, owned his own landscaping business,
he worked nearly around the clock. "Sixteen-hour days, six or seven days a week,"
Jeana says. "He did not know his children." After making World Team after one month,
Jeana went on to reach Millionaire Team in only two years. This enabled Bruce to sell his
company. "Now he's home fulltime," Jeana reports.
"We now live on a golf course!"
A mere 47 months later, Jeana has achieved President's Team. "Four 90-day plans created
the momentum for me to do this," Jeana explains. She focuses on goal-setting and encouraging
others to create positive change in their lives–just as she and Bruce have. "It's created a ripple
effect of change in our lives," she says. The family moved from a starter home to an estate-style
home in a gated community. "Never quit," Jeana emphasizes. And she won't quit until she's
achieved her family's next dream: Homes in Alaska and Hawaii with a boat to sail between the two.*
What works:
- Work those 90-day plans: First for retail and then for recruiting. And remember
to measure your progress after the full 90 days, not before.
- Inspire your downline: "You have to do what you want your team to do!"
- Never prejudge anyone: Always offer the opportunity.
