"I stuck to the basics - and it's made me rich."
Pedro Cardoso is extremely humble. "I'm a simple guy," he says, "just a Distributor who
goes out every day and talks to people about Herbalife." But this "simple guy" has built
an organization of 12,500 Supervisors and lives in a luxury home on a beautiful Brazilian island.
How did he do it? As the always-modest Pedro puts it, "I found something that works, and I've been doing it each day for 12 years."
"Why complicate a plan that works?
A former transportation supervisor for a large cosmetics company,
Pedro launched his Herbalife business when a friend invited him to an
Herbalife Opportunity Meeting. "I could tell right away this business had
a strong plan that, if I followed it, could make me successful," Pedro recalls.
"So I started talking to people about these products and this opportunity -
and I've never stopped." If ever there was living proof of the power of the plan -
"use the products, wear the button, talk to people" - it's Pedro Cardoso.
"I've built my entire business following those three little rules," he says.
"I use the products - and at almost 40 years old I feel like I'm 20! I put
my button on, and I go out and talk to people," explains Pedro.
"I've never tried a new strategy. This plan has made a lot of people wealthy.
Why would I change it?"
The millionaire car washer
How does this fabulously successful man spend his days? "I wash my cars,"
Pedro explains. "I spend almost every morning at the car wash."
That makes perfect sense when you consider he owns 12 cars -
including several BMWs and a Ferrari - and four motorcycles.
Pedro jokes, "By the time I've washed my last vehicle, the first one
has gotten dirty again." But it's not just clean cars Pedro takes away
from the car wash. "That has become one of my biggest sources of
business," he explains. "I show up with a new car each day,
and eventually people ask what I do for a living."
Family man
Pedro does treat himself and his family to some expensive toys - a yacht,
a small fleet of new cars, gorgeous homes–but his greatest reward is
something money can't buy. "I'm able to be there with my wife Juliane
and our wonderful kids," he explains. "We enjoy great vacations together,
and we're always there for each other. That's the best part of this business."
"Finally, I'm a Distributor again!"
Never one to take himself too seriously, Pedro offers an interesting take on
gaining entrance into the exclusive Chairman's Club. "I felt some pressure as
I got close to qualifying," he says, "but the best thing about having made it
is that now I can go back to doing what I've always loved most - and what
got me here in the first place - being a regular Distributor again. I'm heading
right back out there now to talk to people about Herbalife. I can't wait!"*
