Carlos and Letty came to the United States from Mexico, just a few years ago in search of a better life.
Carlos held multiple jobs; Letty worked as a babysitter and attended school, and the couple lived in
a relative's converted garage. Then they discovered Herbalife - and began a meteoric rise to success.
Now, only one month after celebrating their Millionaire Team qualification in October 2004, the
couple has reached President's Team. There's just no stopping them!

Carlos saw his sister lose weight with Herbalife and then experienced the weight loss himself

When Carlos and his wife attended an STS, "We were convinced that this really could work
for us," says Letty. Things were slow at first, though, as she recalls. "We realized we
weren't talking enough about Herbalife's nutritional benefits. Once we did that, sales went crazy!"

They were so effective that they were invited by Enrique Varela and Graciela Mier -
Herbalife's newest Chairman's Club members - to participate in the hugely successful
"Nutrition Club" phenomenon, where people enjoy single servings of
Herbalife shakes and learn about nutrition.
"When we bought a Lexus SUV, we knew this was really happening for us."
Carlos and Letty can hardly believe their success. "When we came to the United States,"
recalls Letty, "I remember seeing beautiful cars everywhere, and thinking we'd never
have one. Now we own a Lexus SUV!" And they park their Lexus in front of a gorgeous
house with an ocean view. But success is even sweeter, Letty explains, now that the
couple has a son, Carlo. "As a former babysitter myself," Letty says, "I saw how little
time most career people have with their children. Thanks to Herbalife, Carlos and I
can be there for Carlo all the time!"*
